Calc AB Exam--How'd you do?

Just for once the testing is done. How did you think it was?

I hope that...

MC was pretty much straight forward...I answered all but 3 and I'm predicting 22/28, and 90% percent right on the calculator section.

Calculator free response questions were pretty easy. I absolutely BOMBED the no calculator portion. My slope field separation was messed up because I was left with a linear equation :(
-The final one was also bad because I accidentally put that cos(0)=0. My set up was also way off. The Rocket one was easy except for the last part. Anyone get Rocket B?

I'm predicting a 3-4 due to my less than spectacular performance on the final three free responses. Personally I wouldn't mind getting a 3 and taking the material over again.

I left six blank in the first MC, none in the latter, and I answered all parts to all of the free response; I know my MC score is going to be sucky, so I hope the free response will save me and give me a four, which is all I need for credit.

the fr was soo much harder than its supposed to be!! lol you can tell bc each is 9 points and there was only an a and a b on 2 of them. guh PR definitely helped me

MC was really easy, the no calculator section was a bit tougher but not that bad.

FR though... damn. I think I got about two thirds of all that right.

Is that enough for a 5?

I think I nailed MC, calc and no calc I'm sure I got all questions but 5 or 6 total. I kind of bombed FR, I think I got 50-75% of it right, not sure. :/

Bombed it... only feel confident about no calc MC. Hoping for a 4... will be embarrassed if I got lower than a 3. FRQ was harder than I'd expected.

From one score conversion you only need 50% for a 4.

What do you need for a 5 on AP Calculus AB?

ROFL! i have the funniest story, but im not allowed to say yet, wait 40 hours.

Overall, I think it is easy

Yeah i agree.MC was a breeze....free response was a bit tougher. how much for a 5? I heard someone say it was 66- 108 from an actual released exam...

No calc MC left about 2-3 black, calc MC was a cakewalk. The FR with the slope fields i had trouble seperating..was left eith a linear equation. Finished about 20mins early but that question killed me for some odd reason.
5 is usually 66-70/108. MC(1.2) + Total MC
Goodluck!

It was all pretty easy except the slope field/differential equation - wasnt hard - just got a rather weird answer....hopefully everyone knows what im talking about, so the answer was right even though it was weird? Otherwise, the rest was pretty straightforward.

i got rocket b was 50??

I think MC was for the most part a breeze, but FR got me a bit near the beginning and end.

Yeah I also got rocket B. I was messing up on the FR bc for questions 1,2,3 calculator section, i wrote the answers to a, b, and c in the A page for question 1, 2, and 3. Yeah so I had to erase and re-write my answers. I did not really get that last non-calculator question, figuring out K and A.

Overall, the test was easier than I though.

With the question about the cars making left turns, for the second part (part B), did they want us to use exact values for the place there were more than 150, or were we just supposed to use the whole numbers, which I think were like 13 and 16? Thanks for any replies.

Yeah i thought that was weird too...i had to go back and calculate the intersects then write them down...weird
