<p>For number 8, remember the formula for the Trapezoid Rule, which is
((b-a)/(2n))(sum of all the f(x)'s with a coefficient of 2 on all of them except the first and the last). Thus, (6/6)(4+2k+16+12)=52. Solve for k, and you get k=10 (D)</p>

<p>For number 14, use L’hopital’s rule and differentiate both the numerator and denominator to get (e^(2+h))/1 which at limit of h=0 is e^2 (D)</p>
