Calc BC curve

out of 108, what raw score do we need for a 5? (let's say, hypothetically, in a year where the curve is bad).

sixty five-sxity four

yeah its like 65.. when i heard it i was very skeptical... ***?
calc AB was 75 or so 1/08.

Yeah, unfortunately they keep making the part IIs harder each year.

i thought i needed about 73% right, so i was aiming at 80%, and getting 85-90%... i wasted so much time on studying

On our final exam it was 75-108. It was a real AP exam I think under the same condition. This is BC

do the questions in multiple choice part A and part B carry different weight?

no all MCs are 1 point for each correct answer, -.25 for a wrong one

what's needed for a 4 then? 50+?

what about a three? ( I know that its sad that I 'm asking so low, but I need a pick me upper.)

Hmm? I must be missing something. Where did those extra 9 points come in?

45 MC + 6 OE (9 pts each)=99

?

the MC are multiplied by 1.2

Calculate using standard deviation and statistics and its 65 - 68 about for the 5 cutoff.

Could someone take the BC exam, nail all the AB questions, and biff most of the BC questions, and still get a 5? They only pull out the AB's for the subscore, not a BC subscore, right? That seems odd that someone well versed in AB and barely (but some) in BC can pull off double fives on the one exam...

Yeah, I think. But chances are slim to do that, and if you could, you are more than ready for any calc course.

PS: Many of the supposed AB topics are mashed in with some BC techniques. That is why it took AB and BC in one year: I can understand how everything works(well, almost everything).

i need a three what do i need to get, i might overnight for a 5

Well, I am really good at math, so I decided to wait until one week ago to learn the BC topics. I am pretty close. A few more hours...

(Everyone else in my school is taking AB)
