I am finding Calc BC second semester to be very difficult, and currently have 77 in the class. I am very worried that my grade will drop to a D, since the most recent unit we are learning has been the most difficult unit of math I have ever taken. I have already gotten accepted into several of my top choice colleges (UCs and a selective full-ride scholarship at CSU Fresno). I am confident I can get straight As in my 4 other AP classes. Is it likely that I can get my offers rescinded if I get straight As and a D?
One C is probably okay, but don’t get a D. You still have time this semester – talk to your teacher, find a tutor, use online resources. You can do this – put in the hard work and time!!
No D’s or F’s. Get that grade to a C by end of semester.
You’ve got time. Don’t give up when there is still a couple of months of school left…
Agree – do what it takes to bring the grade up to a C. Some ideas are going to the teacher on a regular basis for extra help, taking advantage of online resources (ex. Khan Academy), or getting a tutor.
I don’t know about likely, but the UCs clearly say they can rescind admission for any grade below a C. Check the conditional acceptance letters you have received and also look online at their websites for further info.
