Calc BC or Stat? I've taken AB.

I'm taking Calculus AB as a junior and am wondering if I should take AP Calc BC next year or AP Probability and Statistics. I've always been under the impression that Calc BC was one of the most impressive math courses in HS, but will it look bad if I take BC even after I've completed AB?

And of course, I think BC will be a walk in the park. I currently have an A in Calc AB so the first half of BC should be a breeze. The teacher of BC is said to be very easy due to how she structures the class (50% of the kids taking it finished first quarter with an A+), but she maintains extremely impressive AP scores.

So yeah, which course would be more impressive to take, BC or Stat?

BC

(10 char)

definitely BC if you are really good at math, it wont look bad in any way, its like taking calc 1 at college and then calc 2 which is what youre supposed to do
only take stats if you dont plan on doing any other math in college or plan on being a psychology major

I think BC also. I took both my senior year, stats and BC, and BC is a lot easier but it could be the way my teacher does things. He knows we're all good students so he just gives us a bunch of take-home tests. But, it's mostly review.

But if you do take BC and take calculus in college then you start a level higher than most ppl which makes it harder for you in college, at least that's what I've heard.

If you start at a higher level it's not harder, just more advanced. Either you have to take the class and you'll take it eventually, or you don't have to take the class and you never take it. Either way, being ahead helps.

What do you want to study in college?
