Calc BC

how much of Calc BC's material overlaps with Calc AB's material?

<a href="http://www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/ap/calculus_bc/topic.html?calcbc%5B/url%5D">http://www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/ap/calculus_bc/topic.html?calcbc</a></p>

Since BC involves the full year while AB involves only a semester, it can be accurately described as about a half.

^^
eh, I think AB spills a little into second semester AB (really depends on the class), and 4th quarter BC involves a lot of AP review...I'd say more like 3/5

strange, we're doing L'H?pital's Rule but I'm in AB calc...

We did all the BC topics in Calc AB except for the series.
I read at a college website that students with AP Calc AB credit already know many (but not all) of the topics of the second Calc class for which BC students get credit as well.

BC = AB + Parametric + Polar + Infinite Series

In my Calc BC class, we did an old AB AP test to review for the first semester final. We also covered quite a bit of 'A' Calculus during our fourth quarter of pre-cal, though, so I don't know if this is typical.

Yeah I learned lots of the A calculus in precal too.

BC = AB + Parametric + Polar + Infinite Series + additional integration techniques
