My calculus (BC) final is this Friday and I’m freaking out. I have an 88.88% in the class and need a 95% to get an A. The problem is, I don’t know how to study. I’ve done all the review problems he gave us but don’t know what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
How are you doing on the review problems? Only study the things that you need to practice. I find that if I study everything, my head gets bogged down with extra information. If you know where you are struggling or lacking understanding, watch the Khan Academy video on the concept and then just do practice problems from that specific section.
I’ve been studying almost everything but focused more on the chain rule, extrema and limits. I’ve gotten Bs on almost all the tests. I’m going to my teacher for help also. Do you have any testing strategies @manspeak2u ?
@tigerman333 Though I don’t recommend cramming, review the concepts right before class. As soon as you get the test write down anything that might help you solve the problems and then skip right to the problems under that concept on the test. Then the material is fresh in your mind and you can continue throughout the test without continuing to think about that darn chain rule problem.

Khan Academy, which I see is mentioned, is probably your best bet. Mathway is also good, sign up for FREE.
By the way it’s scientifically proven that the spacing effect is a whole lot better than cramming if you try to remember something. Try doing several problems to get a better understanding.
Thanks. I’ve been lots of practice
