<p>Calculators are hardly necessary, unless you need to check your work, do some messy algebra, or use your 89 to do the problems for you.</p>
<p>I think Calc is the easiest of the AP's, (not counting AP Psychology).</p>
<p>Oh and btw, you can do "Calc" problems on the TI-84+...you name it, derivatives, integrals, etc. You just gotta download the 'right' program. ;)</p>

<p>its really sad that people resort to downloading programs for their calculators. just use some freaking elbow grease and do the problems. even people who fail algrebra can do calc with practice. ive seen kids stuggle to get C's in algebra 2 but nearly get A's in calculus because only half of calc is algrebra. the only time you need a calculator is if you want to graph a derivative in a certain window for a test or quiz.</p>
<p>I don't use calculators, I use tables and slide rulers, cuz i'm hardcore.</p>
