I am getting a bit worried about this test. I am not exactly good at math, but I need to get into the calc class for my major. I know it is online and calculators are allowed. Is there a time limit for the test? If you leave the window inactive for too long, will the test time out (force you to log off like the UCSB account)? Also, what kind of questions are on it? I took IB math Standard Level and is this enough to weave around taking this test? If not, then should I study for it beforehand? If I do not get the minimum score, then will I be able to enter calc class at a later period during freshman year (for instance, after a semester of a remedial style math class?)

anyone?..

Rather nervous about taking it. Can anyone provide the info ?

I’m talking to myself now…

This sounds like a good list of questions to e-mail to a counselor. I would help if I could, but the best I can suggest is looking up the most relevant e-mail address and sending some of these inquiries along.

the test is really easy. i wouldn’t worry about it if i were you. the min. score you need to take math 3A is 32 out of 60… which shouldn’t be hard since the test is composed mainly of basic trig and algebra questions and maybe a few tricky ones.

woah…

The level of difficulty was much easier than I expected. Dang…
56 out of 60
