since you are an international applicant you are really at a disadvantage, and tbh you are a pretty average applicant. I’d say all the schools are reaches except for florida, illinois, nyu poly, Virginia, boston, and maybe san diego. Idk cooper union though

No MIT, Cal Tech, Stanford, or Carnegie Mellon? Anyway, the test scores are pretty low, so most of them are reaches except probably University of Florida and UIUC.

i have applied ED but what about my ACT wont they count that over my SAT and I’m applying for electrical engineering so shouldn’t my subject test scores and math scores be taken into account more than English? thanks anyway

Duke University-high reach
University of California - Berkeley-high reach
University of California - Los Angeles-low reach
University of California - San Diego-high match
Cooper Union of advancement in science and arts-match

University of Southern California-low reach
University of Texas at Austin-low match

I think that the only thing really hurting your chances is standardized testing scores. The SAT/ACT are a bit low for some of these schools. Lastly, you may want to embellish your extracurriculars a little more as they seem kind of everywhere right now.

Overall, great app though and good luck! :)

Thanks a lot that is really helpful, what about Georgia tech? and how much is the SAT equivalent of 31 in ACT and is that still low for DUKE cuz that’s my dream thank you so much ! :)

Duke, Berkeley, Rice and Vanderbilt are all pretty tough given your standardized test scores, especially if you are applying directly into an engineering program.

Surprised to see that Carnegie Mellon was not on your list.

I think your chances at the other schools on your list are quite good depending on how well you did on your essays.
