calculate gpa

so i'm retaking two courses this quarter (w11) and i'm not sure if i'm calculating my cumulative gpa correctly (with prospective grades based on how im doing).

so since i took 4 courses last quarter and 4 this quarter, would it be like:

[(grade of 0 x 4 units) + (grade of 0 x 4 units) + (grade x 4 units) + (grade x 4 units)
+ (retaken grade x 4 units) + (retaken grade x 4 units) + (grade x 4 units) + (grade x 4 units)] divided by 32 total units?

with the two classes i didnt pass just factoring in their unit count, or do i just completely taking them out of the calculation and dividing by 24 total units?

i'm thinking i just use my 24 units but im not sure..

What classes did you take and what grades did you get with them. I’m a little too lazy to interpret your question so I can just calculate your GPA right there

last quarter
math 20a- f
chem 6a- f
doc1- b
mus11- b-

this quarter
math20a- b
chem6a- b
doc2 (6 units)- b
bild1- c
(those are rough estimates for my grades this quarter)

So your first quarter GPA was a 1.425 ish. Your second is a 2.778. Your overall GPA will be a 2.141 with those scores.

Are you still pre-med? Your F’s pretty much destroy your chances at this point unless you get A’s in those classes. You should really retake them and try to get A’s, along with A’s in the rest of the science/math courses you take at UCSD to make up for the F’s.

haah yeah…i know
messed up big time. bombed the finals which you needed to pass the class/:

but im not really sure if i am pre-med. i wasnt really thinking i would be but i had left it as a possibility (well not really anymore apparently)…but i am going for science, im not restricted to just pre-med if i go biochem, right?
i like science but i dont think i can handle internal organs and stuff…and i also dont really know much about pre-med tbh…

ahh i just dont know right now.

and thanks for calculating that, cleared it up for me
