Today I received my score report in the mail from ACT and it had some additional information on it than the site indicates. After reviewing my report closely, I noticed that my calculated GPA was 3.92! My cumulative average for 9th, 10th and 11th was a 94.40%. I'm not too familiar with how GPAs are calculated, but I don't think a 94% equals a 3.92 GPA. Im trying to sound like I'm complaining, but I was just curious if this could've been a mistake or if I actually have a 3.92 GPA. I don't remember inputting my grades in the site, but only my approximate class rank. Any ideas?

Don’t worry, your GPA as reported by the ACT is probably not accurate at all; it’s just an estimate. Your real GPA will be reported on your transcript.

My actual GPA is 3.8 lol.

It’s pretty inaccurate because they don’t factor in A- or B+ grades and so on. So if you filled in A grades for all of the courses even though you got many A-'s, it’ll calculate a 4.0 GPA. Mine was a 3.9 in reality so hopefully colleges realize the inaccuracy on the score report!
