Calculating GPA

So I need some help in Calculating my GPA...
I know that if you retake a failed class, the UC/CSU's will wipe it off your GPA (but still show it on transcripts)
do other colleges do this, or just UCs? if so, what colleges?

Also, if i failed a class sophomore year, if i retake it at community college, will it be wiped from my GPA? what if i retake it my senior year of high school (first semester), the will it be wiped from your GPA?

Finally, if I were to get a D in an AP class, then will it still be weighted as a C, or will it stay as a C.

I can't find any definitive answers on here about calculating GPA when you failed classes!

This will vary by college. You’ll need to contact the ones in which you are interested.
Check with your HS

I think you meant stay as a D. You’ll need to ask your HS. This is one reason most colleges don’t look at weighted GPAs.

Def talk to your high school guidance counselor because they will be the most likely to be able to help you!
