Calculating GPA

<p>I'm a Canadian, and we don't calculate GPA. I'm applying to Ivies and other top schools.</p>

<p>Should I calculate my own GPA based on As/Bs and list it under additional information?</p>

<p>Generally, GPA is cumulative based on grades from 9 - 12 right? Also, should I calculate a cumulative average?</p>

<p>I've heard that top schools re-calculate your GPA for certain courses, is this true?</p>

<p>Yeah. Because each high school is so different, colleges sometimes use their own GPA calculating scale. I konw some of the UCs and Pomona have their own grade converter.</p>

<p>As long as you know your grades are good, i don’t think you should bother calculating your GPA.</p>
