Calculating "major GPA" for resume!

Hi guys, I’m a Computer Engineering major, and I wanted to place my major GPA on my resume. I USED to be a BS of Chemistry student (was attempting to be a pharmacist) and I took Chemistry and Biology courses going up to the 3XX and even 4XX level i.e. Organic chemistry, biochemistry, microbiology, organic synthesis

Some of these classes applied to my engineering curriculum requirements for graduation and some counted as electives (per my advisor).

How would I go about calculating my major GPA now? I know all the basic engineering courses required by my major so that should be easy, but I have obscure credits that ended up counting as electives and such for my BSCmpE so I’m not sure how to be sure? I got A’s in those classes (i.e. organic synthesis 4XX) so if it counts as an elective for my BS of engineering , I obviously want to add that into my major GPA.

Let me know if you guys have any suggestions!

What is your overall GPA?

Don’t overthink it too much. If the class counted as an elective for your BS in computer engineering, feel free to include it.

I would include STEM courses…but if you had a bad score in organic chemistry don’t include that because it isn’t related
