Calculating the UC GPA

<p>OK, so there are so many GPA’s out there, Academic Un-Weighted, Total Weighted, 10-12 Weighted, the list goes on and on. For the UC System, how is the GPA that they look at calculated?</p>

<p>Here’s my schedule and grades if anyone is bored and wants to calculate it for me. All of these are grades before weighting.</p>

<p>The UC admissions website has a clear description of what’s included (a-g classes) and what’s not (PE, freshman grades).</p>

<p>Have you met the Visual and Performing arts requirement? I see one semester of media, but not a second semester. You may want to visit your counselor and make sure your senior schedule fulfills the UC a-g requirements.
(Unless the 9th grade art class satisfied the requirement?)</p>
