Would a TI-83 Plus be sufficient for college math courses?

I'd go all the way with a TI-89 Titanium. I'm surprised by just how long that line went. I bought it 3 years ago as a freshman in high school, and now it's STILL the best TI graphing model out in the market.

A TI-83 should suffice though. You'll be using your head for the most part, and simple functions on the calculator.

it really depends on what class youre talking about. as far as i know, most math classes dont allow calculators (from my experience anyway). at the very least, id hold off on getting one until youre there and know what you need. physical science classes are a different story though, youll definitely need one for those
