Do I need to be able to use a graphing Calculator for the IIC. I use a scientific really well but never used graphing b/c school doesnt allow. Can I still score just as well without graphing or is it to my advantage to borrow one.

In my case, I got some help on a few questions of Math IIC by using my TI-83 to make graphs. However, it all depends on you. Without a graphing calculator, you can do absolutely fine, and get 800 as long as you are good at functions and graphs.

If you are planning to take AP Calculus, it is better to get acquainted to TI-83 or 89. And practice its use for Math IIC exam, just for extra help.

So anyone else think i should stay with scientific calculator

People have scored 800s without using a calculator. It's definitely possible.

While kchen is right, its possible to do many things. I, like sam_7770, did make use of the graphing function on my calculator, but there were plenty of questions where I tried not to use my calculator because sin(pi/2) is just way faster in your head than on your calculator (and you dont have to worry about what mode, radians or degrees, you are in).
