Are you allowed to have formulas (i.e. trig identities, volume of strange geometric figures, etc.) stored on your calculator, as long as it's an approved calculator, during the test? Do they check your calculator?

Load up your calculator with every single program you can think of. You can blindly check answers and you will get them all right.

^which calclulator is best for math 2 ( Ti-83, 84, or 89)?

Moomike, was that serious or sarcastic?

No, they don't check your calculator.

If you want some good programs go here:

http://www.ticalc.org/pub/

You'll need the usb link cable though.

^wow that website has a ton of programs. which ones did you load on to your calculator?

They don't check the calculator.

The TI83 and 84 are the exact same thing except the 84 just has better hardware (faster CPU, more memory). You don't need an 89.

And you don't need any programs either. Using programs will slow you down quite a bit.

programs won't slow u down fool! the answer checker saves a lot of time! and the SAT II Math Dojo and Combined SAT program are also big time savers! Imagine solving crazy rational functions with trig functions in a matter of seconds! u can also find out anything about a conic function and triangle and a sector of a circle and quadratic functions in a few seconds

thanx, moo.mike.moo
