<p>programs are perfectly legal and legit, they wont delete them</p>
<p>as far as the TI-89 im pretty sure you can but someone else confirm</p>

<p>89 titanium is allowed. that's the only graphing calculator i use and nobody took it away. if they did that on test day, i'd be sad/angry... even though you technically don't need a calculator. but i just like having my calculator.. more security.</p>
