<p>I have a TI-83 plus right now. It is the 2nd one I have had because both times a spot in the screen goes bad which is making me lean away from them, but the TI’s were recommended at my HS</p>
<p>So are the HP’s recommended instead and should I go for the most expensive one?</p>
<p>A few years ago, my son (CSC) ended up using the TI-83 Plus for calculus and any class requiring math. In the last few years, he hasnt used any calculator (scientific or graphing).</p>
