Calculators Math Test at Orientation

For anyone that took the Math Test (Assessment) last year at orientation do you remember if you were allowed to use a calculator? I heard that you can but read that you can not, so confused.

@amottmers FYI-

This says no. Might be a good idea to read through all of the FAQs

It depends on which one you’re taking. I’m a liberal arts major so I was allowed to use one, but those in CNS/Cockrell were not. I was just taking a standard placement test, and I believe they were taking calc placement. Good luck

@bookmom7 I read that but have spoken with other longhorn parents that said their child was able to use one on it at orientation so that is why i’m confused.

@SlimShadyLady I guess that is what I was hearing, I knew someone people were able to use one. Guess it won’t hurt for my daughter to take one with her just incase (not take it into the testing area unless she knows for sure but just have it at orientation), if she can’t use it then that is ok too.
