<p>Which calculator is better from the AP Calc AB Exam? Ti 83/84 Plus or Ti 86. Doesnt the 86 have more features but a bit slower?</p>
<p>well i have an 86, but some of my friends have the Ti 83/84 Plus calculators. it really doesnt make that much of a difference. i personally like the 86</p>

<p>I prefer the 89 because of it's pretty print display. It makes it easy to see whether you've typed the problem in correctly. It also has solve(), factor(), and other useful algebraic capabilities that allow one to bypass algebra grunt work.</p>
<p>If you are only choosing between the 83/84 and an 86, definitely go for the 83/84 because more people know how to use it and can help you out if you have problems. The 89 is def. worth the extra money, though, in my opinion.</p>
