I am currently a Junior that is enrolled in Precalc and receiving A’s. I am considering a major in mathematics or physics in College. Would it be worth it to take Calculus 1 this summer and then proceed to Calc 2 and 3 during my senior year of High school to further myself in math? I am genuinely interested in math so this isn’t just for getting ahead in math. How much would this help me in admissions to engineering colleges or just LSA compared to just taking Calc BC during senior year? Thanks ahead of time for answers.

Calculus is difficult, and very different from anything you’ve probably done previous. Course rigor is always impressive (and more advanced classes are an excellent way to show it), so colleges would look favorably at you for doing this.
What they wouldn’t do, however, is view your application in some strange new light. Consider instead the worst-case scenario (failing one of the two classes); if you do badly in Calc I, your permanent college transcript will have it on record. If you rush things too quickly, you might find yourself with a weak foundation in later calculus courses.
However, if you feel both that you really want to pursue this course now (and maybe save money on college education later) and that you’re dedicated enough to lay that foundation over a single summer, I’d go for it if I was in your position.
In the end, you know how you best learn, you’re in control of your education, and /only/ you know whether you can handle the intense path you’ve described.
Whatever your final decision, good luck!
