Calculus AB and BC

So my school just offers AP Calculus, no AB or BC attached. I'm curious to know whether, then, I'll be taking the AB or the BC exam in May. ;x The class is a full school year long.

What is the difference between AB and BC? Am I able to choose which exam I want to take at the testing center? D: I'd like to know before choosing either and slapping it onto my college application.

I’d ask your teacher/school.

Calculus BC is Calculus AB with additional topics, so you should ask your teacher specifically what class you are in.

LOL, ask your school or any older students in the class.

Calculus AB is a full-year version of Calculus I.
Calculus BC is Calculus I and II.

Some schools will make it Calculus AB first semester and Calculus BC second semester.

Most schools who offer only one of the options only offer AP Calculus AB.

Are most of your classes semester long? If so then your yearlong class is probably BC.

Double check with your counselor/teacher.

If you see “AP Calculus”, it’s usually going to be just AB. I sadly found that out with my school, which only has AB because of the stupid state math requirements (my guess).
