I'm a h.s. senior who has been taking ap calc bc for the first semester. Two thirds of the way through the term, I'm expected to get a D by the end of the term. Next term, I'm transferring into calc ab, but I heard a rumor that calc AB doesn't or won't count for anything anymore in terms of credit or admissions. Is that true?

P.S. - I also have a question on the college admissions page about how big midyears really are. It has a lot to do with the grade above.

Calculus AB counts for one semester of college credit, while Calculus BC counts for a full year. The Calculus BC exam has an AB subscore, calculated based only on the questions on AB topics, which many colleges use to grant credit for the first semester.
