Calculus AB or BC

<p>I'm switching schools and I've done math through Honors Precalc. At my current school, I'd be able to take Calc BC with what I have done, but my new school has a different curriculum and you have to take AB to get to BC. I'm a junior.</p>

<p>Should I study AP Calc AB on my own to take BC next year or does it really not matter and should I just do Calc AB next year and BC senior year?</p>
