Since you plan on going into science, I would definitely do BC.

I have a book written by a former Dartmouth admissions officer and she says Calc BC is the AP class that colleges value the most.

And take Honors Forensics.

Definitely take BC.

Monstor…you say this is your first AP experience. So I wanted to mention that a lot of CCers are inundated with APs. So…ADDING a 5th or 6th AP to their schedule can sometimes be the straw that broke the camel’s back. This math moves a lot more quickly. My D started with APs in 9th grade, and I think she’d agree they aren’t really “harder”, but they often involve a faster pace and therefore a lot more work outside of school to keep up. So, if you’re “going for gold”, and, like her you’re a member in two state champion teams, also school drama, plus 2 of your classes meet in the evenings for required co-curriculum work, and your other 5 classes are 3-4 APs and 1-2 honors…SOMETIMES even a good math student can bite off more than they can chew and IF this is a subject that might not be THE favorite…taking AB is a way to cut back on rigor just a tiny bit.

I am taking AB now,i want to leave the BC for my senior year as a review,i think they don’t make much difference in college admission,AP BC is just 3 more chapters, you can learn by urself,it doesn’t take long.
