If i am interested in going premed, I know that I have to take physics, but is it required to take physics with calc??

Two options:

You can take Physics 207-208 which is calc based (meaning you will need to take calc the year before) or Physics 101-102 which is not calc based. Either is fine for the MCAT and either is fine for med schools.

you will have to take calc eventually anyways...

The calc-based physics at Cornell is generally considered easier (it is taught lecture-style as opposed to being auto-tutoria).
