Hi,
I am doing a master degree in economics, but now i will apply to Phd then i need to take some calculus courses. I alredy took calculus I that was ok, Professor was very good, i was planning to take calculus II until many students told me that is very hard and also is not related to my field but i need to take calculus III. Do i need the background of calculus II is order to take III. ??? Because people told me that 3 is relate to one that i don't need the background of the II.. Is this true?? Thanks a lot =)

Calc 3 is related more to Calc 1 than Calc 2, but it does definitely have elements of Calc 2 in it. Calc 2 isn’t bad except for one particular part, that part being series convergence. Other than that, it is pretty easy.
