Hello, I'm a freshman civil engineering student at community college. I am planning on transferring to a 4 year school at the start of my junior year. I'm in calculus I now and am doing alright. For my specific degree I only need to get through diff equations(so just 4 math courses). I have heard that the math department at the school I'm transferring to is terrible, so I would like to get all my math classes out of the way before transferring which would require me to take 1 summer class.

The only problem is that I only have a B in calculus I and am still a little shaky on a few concepts. Perhaps i should just spend the summer reviewing calc 1 but I don't want to be stuck taking diff equations at the 4 year either.

So should I take calculus 2 over the summer? Btw it's an 8 week class, 4 days a week, 2.5 hours a day.

Any advice is appreciated!
