I will be taking calc 2 this fall and I had a couple of questions. First of all I'm a little nervous as I haven't taken a calc course since my junior year and am worried that the class will move too quickly. Does anyone who had taken the class think that I boils be doing review work in the next couple of weeks. If they do, what topics would be most useful in the first few weeks? Also could some student comment on how difficult the course is in general and any advice they may have?

You should review if you don’t remember too much from your calc class. You should certainly review how to take derivatives and antiderivates of all kinds (including trig functions), since those won’t be taught to you. Remind yourself of how to evaluate integrals. That’s all I can think of off the top of my head. There may be other things that you should review, but those are the most important things that you will be expected to know.

The class was not bad at all, but the weekly subsections/quizzes were awful. Especially at 8am.
