Calculus II

Let's say you took the Calculus BC exam, and received an AB subscore of a 4 but an overall BC score of a 3.

Technically speaking this is similar to taking the AB exam and getting a 4 on that...I'm in a situation where I'm quite good at the AB material, and not as much on the BC material. Calculus II seems to start off where AB leaves off, essentially (even a bit of review).

Would it be appropriate to register for Calculus II based on this? The pages from the math department seem to suggest that an AB score of 4 is fine for Calc II, but the orientation pages say that you must have a 4 on BC.

Let me know what you all think of this.

Thanks!

you’re fine. it is a very tough course though. I got a 5 in AB and got a B- in CalcII, completely different from the AP calc bc material.
