Calculus III?

In our high school, for senior year if we choose to take a math course (since only 3 years are required for us), then some people who already took AP Calc BC can choose to take either AP Stats OR Calc III at the local college. Would it be better to take Calc III and get it over with or take AP Stats? Or does it really matter?

I'm only sophomore and this is for a junior friend. Just saying.

Calculus III is better.

Go with Calc III (especially if your friend is planning on majoring in the sciences or engineering).

Calc 3. 10char

Calc 3. Stats is so easy, from what I’ve heard.

Calc 3. Stat can barely be considered a math class.

Really?, i’m happy. I’m taking AP stats and Calculus BC together. Stats over here isn’t even a class, it’s an elective.

Yeah, it’s an elective for me too, and Calc III far outweighs Stats.

Take both.
10char

If you can only pick one, pick Calculus III for real learning and AP Stats for the GPA boost (from what I know, very few high schools give extra grade points for community college classes).

Calc III looks good and in all honesty is quite easy if you were good with single-variable calc.

AP Stats is easy but BORING

“Get it over with”

You can easily self-study AP Stat (I know a friend who crammed the week before and got a 5).

Calc 3 is more theoretical and usually requires a good instructor for you to fully understand it.
