Calculus Made Easy- Calculator program for AP Exam

Hello guys,
I am planning to buy this $100 program.
I am thinking it would really help me out on the AP Calc BC Exam.
Is it worth this? Could you guys please take a look at it.
I would appreciate yall's feedback.

Here's the link:

dude.... i'm sure it's not worth 100 bucks. you cant even use your calc for half the test so you'd be better off studying knowing the material.

don't buy it.

it seems like a waste of $ when you consider what bman14 said.

bro, NO calculator program could be possibly worth 800 bucks no matter what it is, besides, as bman14 said you cant really use your calculator for half the test anyways so u might as well be studying, not to mention that your calculator could already be a good help on calc tests w/o any program (u could integrate, diffrentiate, implictly diffrenciate, download the Calclus flaash app from tii website for more.etc...)

thanks for the input, guys

Does anyone have the "Calculus Made Easy" Application that I can have because I really dont want to pay $100 and I cant find a download anywhere.

whatever you do don't buy it, I was stupid and bought the trig made easy a while back and it didn't do crap, plus ur better off knowing the material anyways

There are plenty of other free Calc programs available on ticalc.org and TI has a Calculus Tools application (it's somewhat useful) if you feel you really need to have programs on your calculator

to ask if any of you math wizards have actually used the Calculus Made Easy from ti-89.com?

While I’m at it, any opinions of the TI-89 vs TI-NSpire (screen size, teaching modules, SAT prep questions)?

Our S finds math challenging, and we’re trying to find “step by step” TI software which explains very clearly math subjects: algebra, trig and pre-calc maybe calculus as a backup while doing homework problems.

I’m just checking out ticalc.org as well as the student site at TI itself which is now pushing the Nspire.

Thanks.

A calculator program is just going to be a clunky mess and is no way going to tilt your AP Calc score for the better. It may actually trick you into relying on it, where it then does nothing to actually help you.

Thanks Crunch. Yes, that has dawned on us too. Seems off base to get an advanced calculator for a medium student who is in average classes.

Basically, I was hoping for some software that reinforced algebra, trig, etc with step by step demonstrations allowing a “light bulb” effect.

Nothing replaces study and practice, I agree.

Take a look at this web site for calculus help.
[Calculus Made Easy - www.101science.com](Calculus Made Easy - www.101science.com)

Calculus made easy is a great program, I have it. However it is not 100 dollars, it is only like 50 I think if you can buy it as a student. There is a ‘buy as student’ link or something similar on cme.com but it’s kind of hard to find. I’d find it for you but I’m a little lazy.

It is great, however, not fully needed. There are many free alternative programs on Ticalc.com and don’t forget Calculus Tools. (from TI’s website) which are all free. While they won’t be able to do everything CME does, you’ll still do fine if you’re at least semi decent at math. And honestly, the step by step thing I actually don’t like that much. It will skip steps sometimes and overall isn’t that great. But CME/the ti89 DOES help on the multiple choice as some people will say it doesn’t. Not on EVERY question, but it definitely is a help.

Oh, and TI-89T is better than nSpire IMO.

Great= understatement.
This program is incredible! I used it for AB and BC calculus in high school and it was amazing. Honestly, it does everything. And if for some reason you don’t believe it or just want to know where that answer came from the best part is you can request: “show steps”. It’s true that you can only use the calculator on 50% of the AP exam, but after about a week of figuring out the program that’s a guaranteed 50% right on the exam. The fact that you don’t even need 65% right on the test to get a 5 makes this a no brainer.
Mark my word, this program is great and totally worth the money! I’m at college now and still use the program for every calculus class I take.
Cheers

Totally agree. Calculus made easy is a great program. I bought it at $50 if I remember correctly.

I need some help. I am buying the Statistics and Probability Made Easy Program for the TI-89 but I can’t seem to locate it from the website : [Calculus Made Easy for the TI89/Titanium/92+/Voyage200 - Documentation](<a href=“Calculus Made Easy for the TI89/Titanium/92+/Voyage200 - Documentation”>Calculus Made Easy for the TI89/Titanium/92+/Voyage200 - Documentation) or [Calculus Made Easy and more TI89/Voyage200 apps for Download](http://■■■■■■■■)

Can anyone advise?
