Calculus Placement Test at WashU

Hey guys,
Does anyone know anything about the math placement test at WashU? Is the placement for Calculus I mostly Pre-Calc or does it have a lot of Calc in it? I’m good at Calc but terrible at Pre-Calc stuff so I’m a little worried I won’t do well on it if it is a lot of Pre-Calc.
Thanks!

There are 3 different exams on blackboard for you to choose from. You can take all three if you want.

I’m confused. I thought if you get AP credit for calculus you don’t have to take a placement exam?

My D has a AP score, should she submit it directly online to Wash U?

Yes. And do it ASAP. I think it takes them like a month to process it. Especially if your daughter is doing SOAR, you want her scores to be there before registration.

Thank you.

I took AP calc this year and they say if you get a score of 4 or 5 you don’t have to take the placement test. But I’m also going to SOAR and they say to take the placement test before SOAR and my AP scores won’t be out before then. Should I just take the placement test anyway to be safe?
