So far I've taken single variable calculus, multivariable calculus and I'm about to take differential equations next semester.

My question is, in real life, how much of this calculus am I going to use for engineering? (aka what is really important). Is the single variable calculus just to prepare me for multivariable or should I keep reviewing stuff that I learned in freshman calculus?

Pierre - it is impossible to say entirely since it depends both on your field and specialty. I am also an EE and in my particular specialty single and multivariable calculus are both in constant use. At the same time, there are other fields of engineering where calculus may be hardly used at all.
