Calculus rant

<p>Cmon guys, multivariable calc gets even worse than calc 2.</p>

<p>Integration is easy stuff.</p>

<p>Oh the good ole days of Calc I. Just finished Calc III last semester and onto Linear Algebra this upcoming semester. ■■■.</p>

Not really, depends on the person. Many people find Calculus III to be easier than Calculus II.</p>

<p>People are good at Calculus because they were good at Algebra.</p>

<p>Something a lot of you social science and liberal arts folks didn’t quite do, from the looks of it.</p>

<p>There are some pretty major applications for calculus in sociology. Most social sciences rely heavily on statistics and certain stat classes will require basic calculus or will teach it in the class. Moreover, I think that modeling population growth plays an important role in sociological texts and these models are formed using calculus.</p>
