I'm nervous about taking math in college are there any books anyone would recommend I get to prep myself for calc with trig?

Do as many practice problems as you can. Do as many practice problems as you can. I swear, I’m sick of telling people this and watching them FAIL because they DON’T DO WHAT I SAY. Do practice problems. Get books with solved practice problems, there are plenty on Amazon. I was a math tutor and the tutees who did what I said did well, the ones who ignored what I said failed their classes, wasting their time and money. Treat math classes like a music class, where you must practice every day. Do not treat it like a history class where you just cram on facts and concepts the day before. Math classes are all about problem-solving, and that’s not something you can cram for. It is, however, something you can practice at.

Don’t go whining if you fail your math classes, since I just gave you the advice you need. If I sound bitter about this it’s from watching too many people ignore my advice (but hey, I was getting paid to be a tutor whether they passed or failed).

That is very good advice Tom…I think I will follow it right now… :)
