CalDining favorites

Not that I miss eating at Crossroads everyday, but I'm feeling vaguely nostalgic and thought I would pose the question: what are you favorite things at GBC/Ramona's/Pat Brown's/Clark Kerr/Cafe3/Crossroads?

Mine are:

GBC: foccacia/chicken/lettuce/mayo YUM. my lunch almost everyday
Clark Kerr: terriyaki burger, ummm almost everything actually :)
Crossroads: chicken tacos, broccoli&beef, crinkle fries, french rolls, lemon bars, cheesecake, boston creme pie

Least favorite @ Crossroads: cheese manicotti and beef stroganoff. yuck

It's good to hear that dorm food is something to write about these days. You guys have it good...

any sandwich with hummus at gbc

I agree, GBC sandwiches are mighty tasty. So are their bagels. I lived in Foothill, so I don't have many good things to say about Cal Dining other than that.

okay. so we just go to any one of those, show our cal 1 cards and we can eat all we want?

GBC sandwiches
Crossroads late night when you are donezo

Foothill late night was surprisingly good. Many kids would skip Foothill's actual meals (because they were pure crap) and line up for late night instead. The menu is pretty huge, ranging from standard pizza and mozzarella sticks to full racks of ribs.

You can eat all you want at the dining commons - Clark Kerr, Cafe3, Foothill, Crossroads. At GBC/Ramona's/Pat Brown's, you pay (with points) for what you buy; this is also true for late night at Crossroads/Foothill

what are the best times to dine at crossroads?

hehehhhh. the first few weeks are hellish b/c all the freshmen seem to think that crossroads is the only place in the world one can eat dinner. the line is just insanely long. either go early, like when crossroads opens at 5pm, or late, like 7:00. Or just eat at a campus cafe

i like crossroads and gbc. and yes gbc sandwiches are AWESOME

what is the best place and best time for breakfast during the week?

hahah. during the week, not that many people eat breakfast so anytime is fine. on the weekends, brunch is a madhouse. I don't think it's all that great, but I'm apparently an exception because EVERYONE goes to brunch on Saturday and Sunday, and the lines are insane the whole time.

ORGANIC BROCCOLI at Crossroads. They are unbelievably good. So good.
