My California Aid Report (CAR) came out, but there are a few things that are wrong and/or confusing on it >.<

Under School Choice, they only list THREE of SEVEN schools I listed onto my FAFSA. Is this something I should be concerned about (enough, to call them)?

I'm qualified for Cal Grant A (roughly 10k in two schools) and Grant B (1.5k for the 3rd school on the list). The two first schools say, See code #1. And the 3rd school says See code #1 under Cal Grant A.

What exactly is code #1? It says (on the back) that I'm eligible for both A and B grants. Will I get A/B grants also? Or is it one or the other? I'm so confused..

CAR came by mail. All the schools I’ve applied to are in the state of California.

Thanks everyone! Seeing as I’m not the only one with the three listed, I’m guessing it’s okay… Is everyone else keeping their 3 colleges on the list until they get their acceptance/reject letters?

I just tried to change my daughter’s top 3 schools on the website and it came back “rejected” It said THE COMMISSION HAS HALTED PROCESSING OF 2010 - 2011 TXNS. It sure didn’t give very much time to get it done. Also she qualified for the cal grant A, but it wasn’t granted. It said see code #1 on the letter, but it said it wasn’t granted on the website. Her EFC is 0. All they’re giving is $1551. Has this happened to anyone else? We got the FAFSA in the first day possible.

Many universities will have your student go with Cal Grant B, a much smaller grant in year 1, the university makes up the difference in year one and then Cal grant B is larger than A in the remaining years
