Has anyone heard from the honors college? I know they say by 2/15 but based on previous years posts it appears emails have been sent out around 2/5.

Still waiting

Probably won’t be until the end of this week – I hear they received a record number of applications this year, and they are finalizing now.

Plus campus is closed due to weather so I imagine they may extend the notification deadline.

The admissions office started sending out their priority admissions letters yesterday so you’ll either find out real soon or a little later. (depends what they’ve done for the honors college)

I realize that campus is closed BUT the honors college decisions were completed - for the most part - in January so that the National Scholars invitations could be sent so why can’t they just email yes or no

well at this point campus is closed so I would doubt you’d hear anything today since nobody will be coming in.

They just posted on Facebook and Twitter that decisions have been made and applicants were emailed how to find them! Good luck if you are waiting.

Admitted!!! yeah

Is there anyone else who did not receive an e-mail today regarding Calhoun decisions? My D applied by priority deadline so should be hearing back at the same time as everyone else…do they send e-mails in batches?

I was notified yesterday that I was admitted to Calhoun, and they sent an email telling me to check my status. The email also said “We have completed our first round of fall 2014 honors decisions”, so I would assume there are subsequent rounds.

If you think you finished your application before the priority deadline, I’d check in with them to see if everything is alright with your application.

Received an e-mail in mid December that the Calhoun application was complete…so that should not be the issue.

well it never hurts to check
