I was planning on transferring to UCLA in fall '10, but do to a few hard knocks on my gpa this semester, I'm starting to make other plans. I've been looking at UT(Austin), Clemson, and Ohio State. However, I have NO idea what their expectations are or which courses they accept. I'm IGETC certified...I don't know if that helps. Econ major...and after this semester will have a realistic transfer gpa of 3.5. Honors Transfer Student.

If you are a california resident, why not look at other UC"s. All the UC’s teach the same theory. Don’t give up on UCLA though and call them up and see whether you are on the right track.

While UCLA and Cal are definitely better institution with more funding and better, if you get instate tuition at UC, you should consider maybe UC Irvine, UC Davis, UC Santa Barbara, and UC San Diego, maybe USC.

It seems expensive to be at OSU or UTexas OOS and the other UC’s are fine (better than my state university - UMASS lol). Funny because massachusetts is supposed to be rich and well educated. Well… they have harvard and mit.
