Blu- did you get a likely?

Because I didn't... and I didn't think that you did? And neither did babybird. And we three are the coolest, so that's all the important people right there!

bluirinka - When I met my admissions officer (when she came to our school to promote Brown), the first thing i said to her was, "I love the mall!!" It's gorgeous. There's definitely something there for everyone, and it's soooo clean!!

Ahh too bad I didn't get to check it out when I visited. I must go back for the mall!

Well I'm off, everyone... talk to you all later. :)

Good night!

calidan - i know, the three of us are a trio to rival Harry, Ron and Hermione. which was the first rockin' trio that came to mind.

funky - it IS so clean. it's CARPETED, for god's sake. And elegant, with these gorgeous oval holes and curly wrought-iron balustrades. i love how they put all the bebe and arden b stores right next to each other too, so that those of us who can't afford those clothes don't have to deal with constantly passing them and feeling bad about our jobs at dunkin donuts haha

zante - when i took a trip to Martha's Vineyard by bus to visit 2 friends i'd made at the Brown summer program, the bus passed through Providence right by the mall. i was like "ahhhhh stop the bus! i have so memories of that place, WITH the people I'm going to visit." i find it hilarious that i was the one who loved the campus and school the most, yet I didn't apply - meanwhile, my friend that wasn't particularly thrilled applied ED and got in haha

Bonne nuit!

Yep, even Short Hills pales in comparison.

absolutely! i bet even the Mall of America is like a Bergen Mall by comparison. (for those of you outside NJ...the Bergen Mall is like the worst mall ever. Except for maybe "the Fashion Center", which consists of TJ Maxx and Applebee's. I don't think it even qualifies as a mall haha)

Ah, New Jersey, land of the malls.

hee i think we prefer "strip-mall wasteland"

actually, my fave local strip mall burned down recently. it was so weird! it'd been around forever, since decades before my birth, and was a landmark. half was gone, they had to rebuild it. now there's a quizno's in it though haha

yea those fumes in jersey must be flammable.

hahaha aww, New Jersey gets such a bad rap! I LOVE living here. I live in the perfect slice of suburbia, with perfectly-sized houses and perfectly-manicured lawns. I'll probably end up moving right back here to raise a family. And I proudly wear a T-shirt that says "New Jersey: only the strong survive", lol. But i desperately want one that says "New Jersey: don't worry, we hate you too." I decided to get this one after I did some research on Princeton and some current Princeton student says "I figure this place would be ugly, because my mental picture was always of ugly New Jersey and its turnpike. But Princeton is beuatiful!" I was like GAH! yeah, the turnpike is ugly, but there are some gorgeous areas of this state, why does everyone consider it the armpit of the nation?! lol.

--a loyal jerseyan!

Why are all then New Yorkers depressed? Because Jersey is the light at the end of their tunnel!

Bwahahaha!

If you manage to get off the turnpike (which Jerseyans hate, too!), you'll see that Jersey is really beautiful. Kind of boring, but beautiful.

And for the record, I live off GSP exit 116. lol

lol and of course we all love the shirt that says
"Jersey girls aren't trash. Trash gets picked up"
:p

hahaha that's great. Rabo, that's the best new jersey joke ever, i'm going to tell all my friends lol.

funky - Exit 160, repreSENT!

once when we were in israel and someone asked where we were from, we said New Jersey. The guy said "Really? What exit?" lol!

wow this is like a new/ny monopoly. there's so many of you :p

Seriously, I feel overwhelmed by the number of jersey people >.<

mwahahahaha!! Power to the Jersey girls! ;)

(Though who else is from Jersey besides for bluirinka?)
