California cc transfer business major

I’m a second year cc student and I am applying for transfer this year. I major in business administration but most likely with a focus on accounting. But with these schools they all require a little different course work. UCSB is my first choice and I will be tagging to it this summer. I don’t plan on any other UC tbh. For CSU is was thinking CSU Fullerton, Long Beach, SDSU and SJSU. I say this because I’m am quite uncertain about my financial standpoint when I transfer next year. Moving to Santa Barbara would be nice and the weather is great but housing and expenses would be quite expensive as opposed to Fullerton where housing is cheaper than SB. I live near Long Beach so I can commute but am hesitant on its business school in general. SDSU and SJSU because I have heard some good things about both and San Diego would be finically passable too.

Any suggestions? I go to CC on a scholarship rn and hope to get some next year but will apply for FAFSA as well.

Any suggestions?

What exactly are you asking about? I’m confused. You should just apply to 5-10 schools and see where you end up getting in and then decide.

If UCSB is your prime target, follow the TAG course list exactly or you TAG ap will be rejected.

Fullerton and Long Beach both have solid programs - nothing to be hesitant about with either. Most of the CSUs have solid biz programs so, you have lots of options.

Since you mention cost of living, all of your targets are in very high cost areas. You might want to evaluate some lower cost (of living near campus) but still reputable programs. Sac, Fresno and Chico all come to mind. Of course, the weather is a lot different than Long Beach so, go take a look and see what you think.

Maybe I’m completely wrong but I didn’t think UCSB had a business program…?

@pinkcakexo they don’t. They have Economics.
