<p>My sister's looking around for schools- sh'es got a 3.8 w/ a few honors/ap classes, and wants to go into computer science. What are some good schools to look at? And next, what are some schools that might offer some merit aid?</p>
<p>The UC's are good, but check out each program, as some will be better than others. Stanford's good, and then Harvey Mudd and Caltech are good, and tough to get in, as well as having a particular type of lifestyle that some would not enjoy. Unfortunately I can offer little else but these. Hopefully someone else can come up with more.</p>

any of the UCs, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Cal Poly Pomona, CSU Long Beach, San Jose State.</p>
