Hey guys can you chance my boyfriend ?

He has a 3.6 GPA in Mechanical engineering
he has completed pretty much all of my pre reqs, also all series of physics, chemistry, and is at the highest math provided at a CCC( Linear algebra).
he has LOTS of EC’s! (Started his own SAE club, volunteered, took part of clubs, student government)
He had a pretty decent personal statement
he also working for the state part time as a student Engineering assistant.

I applied to: UCB, UCSD, UCLA, UCD, USC

Chances???

Pretty sure that Berkley is out, UCLA and USC are high reaches, and UCSD and UCD are probably low reaches-matches. The main thing that’s hurting him is his GPA. GPA is huge for transfers, especially into engineering disciplines. If he had a 3.8-4.0 he’d probably get 3 or 4 out of 5 of these.
