Started my own volunteering site in high school ( volunteerhookup.com ) that connects people in my area with local volunteering opportunities. In addition to that, I volunteered extensively with the Special Olympics and Food Forward all throughout high school. Currently, I go with a friend from high school and bring food to the homeless in LA once a week.

My situation is a little bit different because I graduate high school in May 2020. Instead of going off to college, I stayed home to work for my families business due to financial challenges that came about due to Covid. I decided that I would use this opportunity to work very hard in school and I have taken a lot of units to position myself as a Junior Level Transfer.
