California In- State tuition

<p>If I intend to go to a University of California school with in- state tuition, although I am currently not a resident, is it possible to gain residency within two years while I attend community college?</p>

<p>I believe you would have to be independent of your parents, and live here a year. I am not sure, but I think you should not be in school during that year.</p>
