I applied to 3 CSUs (Fullerton, Long Beach, and Cal Poly SLO) So far I’ve gotten into Fullerton and invited to apply to the honors program there! It’s my safety school, but my major is political science and I’ve got a 4.0 GPA.

I have been accepted into San Francisco State with a 3.76 gpa majoring in Hospitality management.

I’ll add my kids -

DS - accepted into SF State, 3.98 uw gpa, major chemistry; also applied to Cal Poly Pomona - major chemical engineering, didn’t get accepted (yet?) but received an invitation to apply to their honors program. Hasn’t heard back from a couple other CSU’s.

His twin sister - accepted into SF State, 3.20 uw gpa, major English; waiting to hear back from another CSU.

Congrats everyone!

My son had a CSU GPA of 3.2 and SAT of 1250/1600. He applied to UOP, SLO, SDSU, Sonoma Long Beach, Chico (Honors) and Monterey - All as an Econ major.

So far he’s been admitted to Sonoma and UOP. Waiting to hear from the rest. He knows SLO and SDSU are highly unlikely but, we’re going to let Jerry Brown be the bad guy. Long Beach is a maybe. He’s highly likely to get into Chico and Monterey. Hard to tell about the Chico Honors program, they consider lots of qualitative criteria and have just a couple hundred seats to fill. It sounds good though.

School: San Diego State
Major: Psychology
CSU GPA: 3.72
SAT: 2110

I got into SDSU and SFSU. Those were the only CSUs I applied to. My major was journalism-advertising and my GPA is a 3.3 or 3.4 unweighted. On top of that I had terrible SAT scores. I am out of state though so maybe that had something to do with it.

I applied to Fresno, SDSU, CSU San Marcos and CSU Northridge… I’m a transfer so it’ll be a while until I get anything back. Really hoping for SDSU but that’s unlikely.

Accepted to Humboldt so far (still waiting on others)
Major: zoology
Cal state gpa: 3.46

Accepted to Fullerton and San Marcos .

Liberal Studies
GPA 3.72
SAT (960/1600)

@shuckit26 are you a transfer student or a freshmen?

My gpa has been: 3.0 - 3.3 from my freshman year till now (im a junior)… I want to apply to CSU San Marcos, do you guys think I’ll get in? Im out of the local area if that counts + planning to major in human services…

Just learned my son was admitted to Chico as well. So far, he’s batting 1000.

Just checked the portal for Chico state and I’m in ,that’s 3 out of 6 so far.

Congrats on Chico acceptances! Care to share stats and application date? My D applied and is still waiting

Thanks!

Ok, Chico must have sent out lots of acceptances today. D just told me that she received acceptance today- her first!

Stats:
GPA: 3.5ish
SAT: 1150/1600

My son had a CSU GPA of 3.2 and SAT of 1250/1600

My son applied to UCR,SLO, Cal Poly Pomona (invited to honors program) and SDSU. He heard back from SDSU late december that he was accepted due to his academic record but in liberal studies! He applied with a major in electrical engineering. I’m assuming EE is impacted? Any thoughts?

GPA 4.2 weighted
SAT 1920
Major electrical engineering

Have you contacted SDSU to see if they made a mistake with the major? I can’t see that it would hurt.

No, but I will. Someone else on another thread was accepted under a different major too.
